1. Where is the Botetourt County Department of Social Services?: We are located at 220 Commons Parkway in Daleville, Virginia.

2. What are your hours of operation?: We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless closed in observance of a holiday. The lobby is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, until further notice.

3. What programs are offered by the Botetourt County Department of Social Services?: We administer several different Benefits and Social Work Service programs.

4. In which locality should I apply for benefits?: You should apply for social services programs in the locality in which you live and pay personal property taxes.

6. Who do I contact if my EBT card is lost, stolen or damaged?: Please call 1-866-281-2448 for EBT card replacement.

7. If I move from Botetourt County to another locality, will my benefits transfer?: Yes. Please contact Botetourt County DSS and ask that your case be transferred to your current locality.

8. How do I report child abuse or neglect?: Contact the Botetourt County Department of Social Services during business hours by calling (540) 591-5960. If the office is closed, please contact the state Hotline at 1-800-552-7096.

9. How do I report adult abuse or neglect?: Contact the Botetourt County Department of Social Services during business hours at (540) 591-5960. If the office is closed, please contact the state Hotline at 1-888-832-3858.
