A conservation easement is a voluntary, legal agreement that permanently limits uses of the land in order to protect its conservation values. Also known as a conservation restriction or conservation agreement, a conservation easement is one option to protect a property for future generations.
Join Botetourt County, Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission, Blue Ridge Land Conservancy, Mountain Castles Soil & Water Conservation District, Valley Conservation Council and Conservation Partners for an evening of education and conversation surrounding conservation easement. The night will start with an open house at 5:30 and feature presentations with Q&A opportunities from 6:30pm-8pm. Light refreshments will be served.
