This event provides an overview of what's in the sky and how to observe it, and the specifics of the science of astronomy, followed by a quick Q&A, then observation with a telescope, weather permitting. For ages 12-18.

Special note to observe Mars as it will be closest to Earth in opposition, when Earth passes between Mars and the Sun. This will officially take place on December 8th. To read more follow this link.
