Practice & Games Timeline

  • Practices begin the week of March 4
  • Regular season games will be April 6- June 8
  • Little League All-Stars
    • All-Star selections and notification will be made by the end of May. If your child is selected for the All-Star team, you will be notified by the Botetourt Parks & Recreation Department. There is a level of commitment required to participate. Please see the Little League All-Star Information to learn more about participating on an All-Star team. It’s important for parents to be reminded that participating in All-Stars is a choice, and that while it is a privilege to play, it is also a commitment with added practices, games, as well as financial commitment. If you realize that your son or daughter has several conflicts, it may be a wise decision not to submit your child/children for All-Star selection consideration and allow another Little Leaguer to have the opportunity to share in the experience.

Interested in Coaching?

Volunteer coaches are a critical component of a successful recreation season. Please consider volunteering as either a head or assistant coach.

We won’t let a child miss out on recreational sports because of finances. Financial aid is available to qualifying athletes. Contact the Botetourt County Parks & Recreation Office for more information.
