Health Department

The Botetourt County Health Department is a part of the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts (RCAHD) of the Virginia Department of Health. The Department offers numerous programs and services that promote and protect the health of Botetourt’s citizens and visitors. Public health nurses, environmental health specialists, and office support staff are dedicated to the mission of promoting optimum health, preventing disease, and protecting the health of the community. Clinic services are provided based on family income and a sliding fee scale and/or at no cost to clients. Call for an appointment or clinic times.
